Prairie Urban Farm - Orientation and Learning Event
Welcome to the PUF annual Orientation and Learning
Event. Join us to learn about urban agriculture, our plans for this
season, and if you haven't been before to get aquainted with the farm and how
you can be involved. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned gardener,
PUF is a place for connect with nature, build community and learn about farming
and food security in the city.
This year we have the pleasure of hosting Cynthia Strawson to
get the season started and share some experience in learning about caring for
early season seedlings, when and how to seed a garden, and spring plant care.
Cynthia, in addition to being an Assistant Dean in the Faculty of Agriculture,
Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Alberta, is a

There will be time for mingling and sharing some light
refreshments. Feel free to join in whether you are a long time PUF gardener, an
occasional passerby, or are just curious about Urban Agriculture and gardening
in Edmonton.
